Bay Trail Confidential Photography Contest

We will have a new photography contest on every monthly show. Each month, the 1st place winner will get the following prizes:

• The choice of a set of Bay Trail Map cards or the book Bay Area Ridge Trail: The Official Guide for Hikers, Mountain Bikers, and Equestrians

• Recognition during following month’s BTC pre-show slides

• Recognition on the Bay Trail Confidential website

Rules:

1. Select a photo you’ve taken that fits into the suggested theme for each month

   (The October 2022 theme is American Canyon/Ridge Trail Hiking . To be eligible to win, submit any photo you’d like taken by you from or of a location within .25 miles of the Bay Trail or in a park/public space that’s on or adjacent to the Trail.)

2. Please tell us in the email you use to submit your entry where the photo was taken and anything else you may feel is of interest.

3. Limit: One photo per entrant per month

4. The deadline to submit is noon on the day before the next show. For October 2022, it will be Oct. 5, 2022 at noon

5. Our panel will select the top five photos that have been submitted

6. On that month’s show, the selected 5 photos will be shown and voted on using a Zoom poll

7. You are not required to be present but it might just help

8. Please read the agreement and click the button indicating your agreement. This will create an email to which you should attach the file containing your image.

AGREEMENT: Rodney Paul and the Bay Trail Project are permitted to use all photos that have been entered in the contest in their presentations, websites and publications. They agree to use your name to give you credit. Beyond these permitted uses, the photo remains your property.
